VRV – Variable Refrigerant Volume Systems – Heat Pumps

The VRV system is a multi-split type air conditioner for commercial buildings that uses variable refrigerant flow control to provide commercial customers the ability to maintain individual zone control in each room and floor of a building.

VRV (variable refrigerant volume) systems circulate only the minimum amount of refrigerant needed at the one time to cool individual rooms and or offices. It allows for the individual climate control of air conditioning zones and enables a flexible layout through connecting to a maximum of up to 64 indoor units per outdoor units. With multiple indoor designs, VRV units are adaptable to suit many different layouts. This is an ideal option for multi-level buildings and commercial sites.

The main features and benefits are that the variable refrigerant has been designed for commercial applications and provide climate solutions with optimized comfort, control and energy efficiencies.

The VRV Heat Recovery unit is handy for modern office buildings where they are increasingly airtight and subject to greater heat loads due to computers, lighting, equipment and other office variables. In fact depending on all of these heat gains some offices may even require cooling in winter due to the nature of the space.
